Wilkes Women's Swimming Finishes Final Day of Diamond City Invitational
WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University women's swim team finished the final day of the Diamond City Invitational hosted by King's College at the CYC in 10
th place on Sunday afternoon.

Shannon Hogan (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty) finished 17
th in the 100 freestyle with a time of 58.22.
Allie Aspey (Dover, PA/Dover) was seventh in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:38.97 to set a new program-record.
The relay team of
Cassie Morey (Chemung, NY/Waverly),
Morgan Williams (Scranton, PA/West Scranton), Hogan, and Aspey finished 10
th in the 400 freestyle relay with a time of 3:58.98.
Williams set new records in the 1650 freestyle (19:47.79) while also breaking the 1000 freestyle record in the process.
The Lady Colonels return to the pool on Saturday, December 3
rd when they travel to Lycoming for a 1 p.m. MAC meet.
