Wilkes Men's Swimming Pushes Win Streak to Three with 112-91 Win over Lebanon Valley
WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University men's swimming team extended its program-best win streak to three as it defeated Lebanon Valley College 112-91 in Middle Atlantic Conference action at the CYC on Saturday afternoon.
The Colonels have now surpassed their win totals for the first two seasons combined, standing at 3-2 overall, and have surpassed their MAC wins for the last two years with a 2-1 record.

The relay team of
Thomas Burner (North Babylon, NY/North Babylon),
Christopher Bright (Robesonia, PA/Conrad Weiser),
Phillip Bennett (Sayre, PA/Sayre ), and Scott Hefflefinger finished first in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:56.57.
The team of
Tyler Weatherby (Sewell, NJ/Gloucester County Institutional Technology),
Anthony Stampone (Kent Island, MD/Kent Island),
Jacob Parfianowicz (Elmira, NY/Elmira Free Academy), and
Dominic Parfianowicz (Elmira, NY/Elmira Free Academy) finished first in the 2200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:33.96.
Weatherby finished first in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 11:21.51.
D. Parfianowicz finished first in the 50 freestyle with a time of 23.40, and finished second in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:00.10.
J. Parfianowicz finished first in the 100 free with a time of 54.06 and second in the 200 freestyle in 2:06.45.
Wilkes returns to the pool next Saturday when it will host Arcadia University at 1 p.m. at the CYC.
