Wilkes Men's Swimming Upended at Lycoming 170-88
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Wilkes University men's swim team was upended at Lycoming College by a 170-88 final in Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) action on Saturday afternoon.

The Colonels fell to 3-4 on the season with the loss.
The relay team of
Tyler Weatherby (Sewell, NJ/Gloucester County Institutional Technology),
Matthew Nevers (Jackson, NJ/Jackson Memorial), Thurman Fogelman, and
Sean Connelly (Ashley, PA/Hanover Area) finished third in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:55.64. The team of
Dominic Parfianowicz (Elmira, NY/Elmira Free Academy),
Anthony Stampone (Kent Island, MD/Kent Island),
Jacob Parfianowicz (Elmira, NY/Elmira Free Academy), and Weatherby won the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:34.82.
Weatherby finished first in the 100 butterfly with a time of 57.60 and second in the 200 butterfly at 2:16.64.
Connelly finished second in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 12:04.02 and finished second in te 500 freestyle with a time of 5:52.64.
J. Parfianowicz came in second in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:01.57, third in the 50 freestyle at 23.91, and third in the 100 freestyle in 55.16.
D. Parfianowicz was second in the 100 backstroke with a time of 59.43, second in the 50 freestyle at 23.51, and third in the 200 backstroke in 2:26.91.
Christopher Bright (Robesonia, PA/Conrad Weiser) was second in the 100 breaststroke at 1:07.12, third in the 200 breaststroke in 2:34.87, and fourth at the 50 freestyle with a time of 24.73.
Wilkes returns to the pool on Friday when it travels to Penn State-Altoona for a 5 p.m. non-conference meet.
