Wilkes Women's Swimming Falls at Lycoming 168-84
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Wilkes University women's swim team returned to the pool this afternoon when it traveled to Lycoming College where it was defeated in Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) action by a score of 168-84.

The Lady Colonels fell to 1-8 on the season with the defeat.
The relay team of
Shannon Hogan (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty),
Kyleigh Smeltzer (Manchester, PA/Northeastern),
Allie Aspey (Dover, PA/Dover), and
Cassie Morey (Chemung, NY/Waverly) started the day off with a second place finish in the 200 yard medley relay, finishing in 2:07.07. The team of Hogan, Morey,
Elizabeth Dyminski (Fredon, NJ/Kittatinny), and
Morgan Williams (Scranton, PA/West Scranton) came in first in the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:54.78.
Williams set a new program mark in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 11:59.20, good for a first place finish. Williams also finished first in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:52.13, and finished third in the 100 freestyle with a time of 1:02.42.
Dyminski came in third place in the 100 backstroke, finishing in 1:12.94 while finishing fourth in both the 200 backstroke and 200 IM.
Hogan finished first in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:43.84 and second in the 100 breaststroke in 1:15.47.
???????Aspey finished first in the 100 butterfly at 1:08.54 and came in second in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:37.61.
???????Morey was the third place finisher in the 50 freestyle at 27.50 and fourth in the 100 freestyle.
Wilkes returns to the pool on Friday when it travels to Penn State-Altoon for a non-conference meet at 5 p.m.
