Wilkes Men's Swimming Falls at PSU-Altoona 109-79
ALTOONA, Pa. – The Wilkes University men's swim team fell to Penn State-Altoona by a 109-79 final score on Friday evening.
The Colonels are now 3-5 on the season.

The relay team of
Dominic Parfianowicz (Elmira, NY/Elmira Free Academy),
Nick Walker (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth Area),
Tyler Weatherby (Sewell, NJ/Gloucester County Institutional Technology), and
Anthony Stampone (Kent Island, MD/Kent Island) finished first in the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:58.95. The team of
Michael Grizzle (Upper Darby, PA/Upper Darby),
Phillip Bennett (Sayre, PA/Sayre ),
Matthew Nevers (Jackson, NJ/Jackson Memorial), and
Sean Connelly (Ashley, PA/Hanover Area) came in second at the 800 freestyle relay, finishing in 8:59.14.
Weatherby finished first in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:59.13 and second in the 100 butterfly in 58.47.
D. Parfianowicz finished second in the 200 IM with a time of 2:18.07 and came in third in the 100 freestyle at 54.43.
Stampone was the second-place finisher in the 100 freestyle with a time of 53.84 and finished third in the 500 freestyle in 5:47.94.
Bennett finished second in the 100 backstroke at 1:12.38.
Wilkes returns to the pool on Saturday, January 14
th when they travel to Radnor, Pa. to take on Cabrini College and MAC-foe Widener at 1 p.m.
