WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University women's golf team scored a pair of wins in match play besting Marywood University 3-1 before a 4-0 victory over Arcadia University on Thursday afternoon at the Wilkes-Barre Municipal Golf Course.
 
In the win over Arcadia, Christy Taylor (Carlstad, NJ/Lenape Valley) won 9-7 over Kasey Frey. Alexa Flood (Moscow, PA/North Pocono) was a winner over Jacqueline Luthcke 8-7. Kate Mahoney (Kingston, NH/Central Catholic) (5-4) and Elizabeth Reyes (Old Bridge, NJ/Old Bridge) (5-4) rounded out the Lady Colonels sweep on the Par 72 course.
 
Flood, Mahoney and Reyes each claimed victories in Wilkes 3-1 win over Marywood.
 
Wilkes gears up for the MAC Championships on Sunday and Monday at the Hershey Country Club.
