HERSHEY, PA – The Wilkes University men's golf team concluded round one of the 2016 Middle Atlantic Conference Championships held at the Hershey Country Club on Saturday afternoon. As a team the Colonels finished with a combined teams core of 352.
 
Wilkes was led in round one play by Alex Anderson (Bear Creek, PA/Coughlin) who shot a team-low 83 (40/43) on the day. AJ Isidoro followed one stroke off carding an 84 (45-39) while Corey Hauser (Wilkes-Barre, PA/Coughlin) finished with an 87 (43/44). John Scalese (Medford, NY/Patchogue-Medford) shot a 98 (52/46) while Michael Malshefski (Nanticoke, PA/Nanticoke) recorded a 104 (54/50) on the day.
 
The tournament concludes with final round action beginning at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow (Sunday)
