Wilkes Women's Swimming Falls in Double-Dual to Cabrini and Widener
RADNOR, Pa. – The Wilkes University women's swim team returned from its winter layoff this afternoon, travelling to Cabrini for a double-dual with Cabrini and Widener on Saturday afternoon, falling to Cabrini 112-74 and Widener 168-27.
The Lady Colonels fell to 2-10 on the season and 0-6 in MAC meets.

Cassie Morey (Chemung, NY/Waverly), sophomore
Morgan Williams (Scranton, PA/West Scranton), sophomore
Allie Aspey (Dover, PA/Dover), and freshman
Shannon Hogan (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty) finished fourth in the 400 freestyle relay with a time of 4:06.91.
Morey finished third in the 50 freestyle at 27.67 and third in the 100 freestyle in 1:01.82.
Hogan finished third in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:47.44 and fourth in the 200 IM at 2:28.96.
Williams came in third in the 1000 freestyle at 12:03.88 and sixth in the 500 freestyle in 5:57.93.
Wilkes returns to action on Saturday when it will host a double-dual with College of New Rochelle and Misericordia. Saturday will also be the team's senior day, with a ceremony to honor the Lady Colonels swimming in their final home meet.
