Wilkes Men's Swimming Goes 1-1 in Double-Dual with Misericordia and New Rochelle
WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University men's swim team defeated the College of New Rochelle 189-23 and fell to Misericordia 133-105 on senior day at the CYC on Saturday afternoon.
The Colonels are now 5-7 on the season.

Jacob Parfianowicz (Elmira, NY/Elmira Free Academy) finished third in the 200 medley relay with a time of 2:05.86, while the team of J. Parfianowicz, freshman
Nick Walker (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth Area), senior
Dominic Parfianowicz (Elmira, NY/Elmira Free Academy), and freshman
Tyler Weatherby (Sewell, NJ/Gloucester County Institutional Technology) came in third in the 800 freestyle relay at 8:12.20.
D. Parfianowicz came in first in the back, setting a new program record of 57.38. D. Parfianowicz also finished second in the 200 backstroke in 2:19.23, and fourth in the 50 freestyle at 23.45.
Weatherby finished first in the 1000 freestyle at 11:07.70, which set a new team best in the event. Weatherby also finished first in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:22.01 and third in the 500 freestyle in 5:23.24.
J. Parfianowicz finished first in the 100 breaststroke at 1:07.38 and fourth in the 100 freestyle with a time of 52.12.
Walker finished first in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:40.35, came in second in the 200 freestyle in 2:08.30, and finished third in the 200 IM at 2.21.40.
Freshman
Sean Connelly (Ashley, PA/Hanover Area) came in second in the 100 butterfly at 1:02.88, third in the 1000 freestyle at 12:09.39, and fourth in the 200 backstroke 2:32.29.
???????Fogleman finished second in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:44.36 and third in the 200 freestyle in 2:17.55.
The Colonels return to action on Saturday when they travel to King's for a 1 p.m. MAC meet, their final of the regular season.
