Wilkes Women's Swimming Splits Double-Dual with New Rochelle and Misericordia
WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University women's swim team defeated the College of New Rochelle 122-63 before falling to Misericordia 149-57 on senior day at the CYC on Saturday afternoon.
The Lady Colonels are now 3-11 on the season.

Morgan Williams (Scranton, PA/West Scranton), freshman
Shannon Hogan (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty), senior
Cassie Morey (Chemung, NY/Waverly), and sophomore
Allie Aspey (Dover, PA/Dover) finished second in the 200 medley relay at 2:03.62.
The team of Aspey, freshman
Kyleigh Smeltzer (Manchester, PA/Northeastern), Hogan, and Williams finished third in the 800 freestyle relay with a time of 9:25.14.
Hogan also finished first in the 100 breaststroke at 1.16.66.
Smeltzer won the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:53.72, and third in the 200 IM in 2:47.31.
Aspey finished second in the 1000 freestyle in 12:22.64, and second in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1.10:76.
Williams came in second in the 200 freestyle at 2:09.15, and second in the 500 freestyle in 5:49.28.
???????Morey finished third in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:14.02, third in the 50 freestyle at 28.25, and third in the 100 freestyle in 1:02.65.
Wilkes returns to the pool on Saturday when it travels to King's College for its final regular season meet at 1 p.m.
