Wilkes led early in the contest as scores from Haley Mesaros (Royersford, PA/Pope John Paul II), Gianna Roberts (Nanticoke, PA/Nanticoke) and Sierra Smith (Syracuse, NY/West Genesse)  gave the Lady Colonels its largest lead of the game up 13-5 with 3:15 left in the first quarter. Wilkes held onto the lead after one quarter of play despite six straight points from the Aggies leading 15-13 after one frame.

Wilkes went cold from the floor over the next ten minutes of play as Delaware Valley gain control of the game and never looked back outscoring the Lady Colonels 21-8 over the second quarter. DVU led 34-23 at the break thanks to Skedzielewski and 16 of her 27 points in the first half.

Delaware Valley answered right back taking its largest lead of the game up 52-38 using a 20-11 run to end the third quarter.

Skedzielewski added two more three-pointers and Amber Grohowski (Nanticoke, PA/Nanticoke) three straight baskets to put the Aggies out front for good up 67-45 with just under two minutes remaining in the game.
