Wilkes Men's Swimming Defeated 117-59 at King's
WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University men's swim team finished its regular season with a 117-59 loss at King's College on Saturday afternoon in Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) action.
The Colonels ended the regular schedule with a 5-8 overall record, 2-5 in MAC meets.

Matthew Nevers (Jackson, NJ/Jackson Memorial) won the 400 freestyle relay with a time of 3:56.87. The team of senior
Jacob Parfianowicz (Elmira, NY/Elmira Free Academy), freshman
Nick Walker (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth Area), freshman
Tyler Weatherby (Sewell, NJ/Gloucester County Institutional Technology), and freshman
Christopher Bright (Robesonia, PA/Conrad Weiser) finished third in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:50.63.
Weatherby set a new program record in the 200 freestyle, finishing second with a time of 1:54.73. He also finished third in the 100 butterfly at 58.24.
J. Parfianowicz finished first in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:07.98, and came in second in the 50 freestyle in 22.98.
Bright came in second in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:08.54 and fourth in the 100 freestyle at 55.42.
Connelly finished third in the 200 freestyle in 2:07.67 and fifth in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:05.15.
Burner finished third in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:11.65 and fifth in the 50 freestyle in 25.25.
Walker was third in the 200 IM with a time of 2:24.76 and third in the 100 breaststroke at 1:12.46.
Wilkes returns to action on Thursday, February 9
th when they travel to York, Pa. for the MAC Championships.
