Wilkes Women's Swimming Falls 123-55 to King's
WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University women's swim team fell in its final regular-season Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) meet at King's College on Saturday afternoon by a 123-55 final.
The Lady Colonels finished the season 3-12 overall and 0-7 in MAC meets.

Adrianna Stares (Lake Ariel, PA/Western Wayne), freshman
Kyleigh Smeltzer (Manchester, PA/Northeastern), and freshman
Maura Clarke (Plains, PA/Coughlin) won the 400 freestyle relay in 5:03.05. The team of sophomore
Morgan Williams (Scranton, PA/West Scranton), sophomore
Allie Aspey (Dover, PA/Dover), senior
Cassie Morey (Chemung, NY/Waverly), and freshman
Shannon Hogan (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty) finished second in the 200 medley relay with a time of 2:02.30.
Aspey finished first in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:18.88 and also finished fourth in the 200 IM at 2:34.56.
Smeltzer was second in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:19.43 and fourth in the 200 freestyle at 2:29.01.
Williams finished third in the 200 freestyle in 2:11.89 and third in the 500 freestyle at 5:58.18.
Hogan finished third in the 50 freestyle with a time of 27.39 and third in the 100 freestyle with a time of 1:01.50.
Morey was third in the 100 butterfly in 1:10.61 and third in the 100 backstroke at 1:20.93.
Wilkes returns to action on Thursday, February 9th when it travels to York, Pa. for the MAC Championships.
