Wilkes Men's Swimming Topped 142-44 at Arcadia
GLENSIDE, PA – The Wilkes University men's swimming team dropped a 142-44 decision to host Arcadia University in Middle Atlantic Conference action Friday night.
Wilkes dropped to 0-2 on the season in dual meets.
Jared Byrne (Pequea, PA/Penn Manor) finished second in the 200 IM with a time of 2:09.31.
Anthony Stampone (Kent Island, MD/Kent Island) took second in the 100 butterfly at 59.36 and third in the 50 free at 24.11.
In the 200 free relay the team of Byrne,
Tyler Weatherby (Sewell, NJ/Gloucester County Institutional Technology),
Tyler Deters (Cogan Station, PA/Montoursville) and
Nick Martino (Hummelstown, PA/Upper Dauphin) finished second with a time of 1:33.41, just over one second shy of first place.
Wilkes returns to the pool tomorrow (Saturday) hosting Mount Saint Mary at 1:00 p.m. at the Wyoming Valley CYC.
