Wilkes Women's Swimming Falls 136-42 at Arcadia
GLENSIDE, PA – The Wilkes University women's swimming team fell 136-42 at Arcadia University in a Middle Atlantic Conference meet Friday night.
Wilkes suffers its first defeat of the dual meet season after competing in the Colonel Sprint Invite last weekend.
Abby Keating (Spring Grove, PA/Spring Grove) captured first place in the 200 IM with a time of 2:24.91.
Morgan Williams (Scranton, PA/West Scranton) finished second in the 100 free coming in at 1:01.06.
Julia Rostron (Harleysville, PA/Souderton Area) took third place in the 50 free with a time of 28.89.
The 200 medley relay team of Keating, Williams,
Allie Aspey (Dover, PA/Dover) and
Kyleigh Smeltzer (Manchester, PA/Northeastern) finished second with a time of 2:05.38 in the event.
Wilkes returns to the pool tomorrow (Saturday) hosting Mount Saint Mary at 1:00 p.m. at the Wyoming Valley CYC.
