ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Wilkes University men's swim team split its Sunday afternoon double-dual meet, defeating host Lebanon Valley College 128-61 and falling to Dickinson College 88-106 on Sunday afternoon.

The Colonels are now 3-3 overall and 2-1 in Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) meets.

The team of Jared Byrne (Pequea, PA/Penn Manor), Tyler Weatherby (Sewell, NJ/Gloucester County Institutional Technology), Anthony Stampone (Kent Island, MD/Kent Island), and Nick Martino (Hummelstown, PA/Lower Dauphin) finished first in the 200 meter freestyle relay with a time of 1:44.17. The team of Justin Burda (Allentown, PA/Allentown Central Catholic), Thurman Fogleman (York, PA/William Penn), Michael Grizzle (Upper Darby, PA/Upper Darby), and Mike Pettit (Montrose, PA/Montrose Area Jr/Sr) finished second at 1:53.99.

Byrne came in first in the 50 meter freestyle with a time of 25.06, and finished first in the 100 meter freestyle in 55.05.

Burda finished first in the 100 meter butterfly at 1:03.19 and fifth in the 400 meter freestyle in 5:08.60.

Stampone finished in first in the 100 meter breast with a time of 1:20.20 and came in fifth in the 100 meter butterfly at 1:07.15.

Fogleman was second in the 100 meter breaststroke with a time of 1:23.30 and fourth in the 200 meter IM in 2:52.35.

Weatherby came in third in the 200 meter IM at 2:34.99

Christopher Daley (Bethlehem, PA/Allentown Central Catholic) came in third in the 800 meter freestyle in 10:31.93.

Martino finished third in the 200 meter free at 2:15.26 and sixth in the 100 meter backstroke in 1:09.35.

Pettit was fourth in the 400 meter fresstyle with a time of 4:56.72 and fourth in the 200 meter freestyle at 2:19.48.

Wilkes returns to action on Saturday when it will host FDU-Florham in a MAC meet at the Wyoming Valley CYC starting at 1:00 p.m.
