Wilkes Women's Swimming Finishes Day Three of MAC Championships
YORK, PA – The Wilkes University women's swimming team finished day three action at the 2017 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships Saturday night at the York Aquatic Club.

In the 200 free relay the team of
Morgan Williams (Scranton, PA/West Scranton),
Cassie Morey (Chemung, NY/Waverly),
Allie Aspey (Dover, PA/Dover) and
Shannon Hogan (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty) finished in tenth place with a time of 1:45.83, narrowly missing the school record for the event.
Aspey took 15
th place in the 400 IM finals touching in at 5:09.83. Morey earned 20
th place in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:08.45. Williams set a new school record in the 200 free finals finishing 19
th at 2:05.22, more than three second better than the previous mark.
Hogan set a new record in the 11 breaststroke finals with a time of 1:12.34 coming in 11
th place.
Wilkes remains in 10
th place overall with 64 total team points through 23 events. The final day of action will begin tomorrow (Sunday) at 10:00 a.m.
