WILKES-BARRE - The Wilkes University women's swim team defeated SUNY Delhi 102-36 and bested SUNY Cobleskill 103-85 at the Wyoming Valley CYC on Saturday afternoon.

The Lady Colonels improved to 2-10 with the victories.

The relay team of Cassie Merrill (Scranton, PA/West Scranton), Kyleigh Smeltzer (Manchester, PA/Northeastern), Julia Rostron (Harleysville, PA/Souderton Area), and Brianna Sailor (Philadelphia, PA/Milton Hershey) finished first in the 200 medley relay with a time of 2:15.02.

Morgan Williams (Scranton, PA/West Scranton) finished first in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 11:50.91 and first in the 500 freestyle at 5:51.13.

Merrill came in first in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:30.62 and third in the 100 freestyle in 1:10.67.

Smeltzer won the 59 breaststroke at 35.84 and second in the 100 freestyle at 1:03.73.

Allie Aspey (Dover, PA/Dover) finished first in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:08.34 and first in the 50 freestyle at 28.14.

Abby Keating (Spring Grove, PA/Spring Grove) won the 100 breaststroke in 1:15.74.

Rostron finished second in the 50 freestyle at 29.12 and in the 100 breaststroke in 1:21.47.

Sailor finished second in the 50 backstroke with a time of 39.24.

Wilkes returns to the pool on Saturday when it will host King's at the Wyoming Valley CYC starting at 1:00 p.m.
