Wilkes Women's Cross Country Races to Fourth at Hood College Open
FREDERICK, Md. – The Wilkes University women's cross country team raced to a fourth-place finish out of 13 teams at the Hood College Open on Saturday afternoon.

Mia Hensil (East Berlin, PA/Bermudian Springs) led all Colonels, finishing in 25th-place with a time of 24:57.
Caroline Rickard (Orwigsburg, PA/Blue Mountain) finished in 25:17, good for 29th-place while Autumn Pedron (Pottsville, PA/Minersville) was not far behind with a time of 25:36 for a 35th-place finish.
Sara Ross (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth) (37th-place, 25:53), Mia Walker (Matawan, NJ/Matawan Regional) (43rd, 26:15), Sydney Rochette (Colchester, CT/Academy of Aerospace and Engineering) (47th, 26:29), Kaitlin Sutton (Shavertown, PA/Lake Lehman) (56th, 26:59), Jill Weston (South Canaan, PA/Western Wayne) (68th, 27:59), Alexa Boersma (Clarks Summit, PA/Abington Heights) (79th, 29:12), and Arianna Ryan (Brockton, PA/Tamaqua) (80th, 29:20), rounded out the finishers for the Colonels.
Ross, Walker, Rochette, Weston, and Boersma all set new personal records in Saturday's performance.
Wilkes returns to action on November 2nd when they return to Hood for the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championship, starting at 11:00 a.m.
