DALLAS, PA – The Wilkes University men's golf team finished in third place at the Misericordia University tri-match on Sunday afternoon at the Irem Golf Club.
 
Wilkes finished with a team score of 387. Marywood University captured first place with a score of 318 while the host Cougars finished second with a score of 382.
 
Andrew Finke (West Milford, NJ/West Milford Twp.) came in seventh overall carding an 85 on the par-72 course. Michael Sherrick (Shickshinny, PA/Northwest Area) finished 9^th overall shooting a 91 while Jay Gallagher (Reading, MA/Kents Hill School) (101), Devon Schell (Scarsdale, NY/Scarsdale) (110) and Michael Gurska (Revere, MA/The Rivers School) (125) rounded out the Colonel finishers.
 
Joseph Weber of Marywood brought home medalist honors with a four over 76. Colin Bowanko led Misericordia with an 83 on the day.
 
Wilkes concludes its fall schedule on Friday, October 11^th with a home match against DeSales University starting at 1:00 p.m. at the Huntsville Golf Club.
