SCRANTON, PA – Alexa Crossgrove (Harleysville, PA/Souderton Area) and Abby Keating (Spring Grove, PA/Spring Grove Area) combined for four individual victories including a new school record as the Wilkes University women's swimming team fell 103-91 in a tightly contested dual-meet at Marywood University on Saturday afternoon.

Crossgrove won the 1,000 Freestyle race with a new Wilkes record of 11:31.21 as she bested her own record from earlier this season. Crossgrove also won the 100 Freestyle with a time of 56.67.

Keating won the 400 IM with a time of 5:09.62 and also took first place in the 200 Backstroke with a time of 2:25.81.

The 200 Freestyle Relay team of Crossgrove, Kyleigh Smeltzer (York, PA/Northeastern), Jessica Turnitza (Cumbola, PA/Pottsville Area) and Keating won with a time of 1:50.46.

With the loss the Colonels are now 1-4 overall this season. They will return to the pool next Saturday for their first home meet of the season when they host Mount Saint Mary College (NY) at the Wyoming Valley CYC at 1:00 p.m.
