Wilkes Women's Golf Falls 3-1 at Misericordia
LEHMAN, PA – The Wilkes University women's golf team fell 3-1 in match play to local rival Misericordia University on Saturday afternoon at the Irem Country Club.
Jade Walter (Delano, PA/Mahanoy Area) was the lone winner for the Colonels besting Lara May 5 and 3.
Sarah Sorber (Hunlock Creek, PA/Northwest Area) fell 5 and 4,
Cassidy Taylor (Forty Fort, PA/Wyoming Valley West) 5 and 4. Misericordia's Dani Clifford beat
Gwen MacConnell (Great Bend, PA/Blue Ridge) 2-up.
Wilkes returns to the course Thursday hosting Keystone College and the University of Scranton at Huntsville Golf Club starting at 1:00 p.m.
