WHITE HAVEN, PA – The Wilkes University women's golf team concluded play at the 2019 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Golf Championships Sunday afternoon at the Mountain Laurel Golf Club.

Sarah Sorber (Hunlock Creek, PA/Northwest Area) led three Colonels who finished round two play on Sunday carding a 92 and two-day total of 207 for 30^th place. Cassidy Taylor (Forty Fort, PA/Wyoming Valley West) bested her round one score of 117 shooting a 112 on day two for a combined score of 229 for 35^th place.
 
Hannah Welfley (Mifflintown, PA/Juniata) rounded out the Wilkes participants posting a 124 in round two after finishing with a 110 yesterday for a two-day total of 234 for 37^th place.
 
Stevenson University claimed the MAC title with a team score of 634, while Julia Kline earned individual champion honors for the Mustangs after posting a two-day score of 155. Kline beat out her teammate Amanda Perez in a two-hole playoff for the title. Alvernia University followed in second place with a score of 653.
