EDWARDSVILLE – Fresh off its sixth win of the season, the Wilkes University football team is receiving votes in the latest D3football.com Top 25 Poll as announced on Monday morning.
 
Wilkes (6-1, 5-1 Middle Atlantic Conference) earned three votes in the national poll. The D3football.com Top 25 Poll is voted on by a panel of 25 coaches, Sports Information Directors and media members from across the country, and is published weekly.
 
The Colonels posted their fifth MAC victory of the year last Saturday with a 30-20 win over Lebanon Valley College and currently stand in second place behind No. 10 Delaware Valley University in the MAC standings with three games left in the regular season.
