SCRANTON, PA – Junior Maddy Kinard (Dover, PA/Dover Area) was a double-winner for the Wilkes University women's swimming team as host Marywood University won the dual meet 118-38 Saturday afternoon.

Kinard won the 50 Freestyle with a time of 27.87 in a field of four swimmers and won the 200 Backstroke with a time of 2:31.51 in a field of three swimmers.

The Colonels 400 Freestyle Relay team of Kinard, Kara Foster (Brookville, PA/Brookville Jr. Sr.), Abby Keating (Spring Grove, PA/Spring Grove Area), and Emilie Detweiler (Muncy, PA/Hughesville) ended the day with a finish of 4:27.60.

The Colonels return to the pool on Sunday, November 14 for a tri-match at Lebanon Valley College also including Dickinson College.
