Barlow Shines as Wilkes Women's Cross Country Places 10th at DeSales Invitational
CENTER VALLEY, PA – Junior
Victoria Barlow (Ridge, NY/Bishop McGann-Mercy Diocesan) recorded a top-15 program time in the 6k as the Wilkes University women's cross country team placed 10th of 19 teams at the DeSales Invitational Saturday. Five of the Colonels runners set personal records on the day.
Results
Wilkes scored 280 team points among its top five finishers in the race that featured 179 total runners.
Barlow recorded a personal record time of 24:42.8 for the 14th fastest 6k time in program history. She placed 29th overall.
Junior
Sara Ross (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth) recorded a personal record of 25:33.6 to finish 52nd overall. First year
Alyse Fay (Verona, PA/Oakland Catholic) was 61st with a personal best 25:46.3. First year
Courtney Negra (Colonia, NJ/Colonia) also set a personal record with a time of 27:06.6 as she placed 94th. Junior
Sydney Rochette (Colchester, CT/Academy of Aerospace and Engineering) rounded out the Wilkes scorers with a time of 27:33.1 in 105th overall.

Mia Walker (Matawan, NJ/Matawan Regional) finished in 109th with a time of 27:42.4 and first year
Abby Lewis (Troy, PA/Troy) followed in 112th with a time of 27:44.9. First year
Regan Metz (Berwick, Pa./Berwick) recorded a personal best with a finishing time of 28:05.7 as she placed 116th.

Misericordia won the team title with 55 points. Olivia Visaggio of Misericordia was first overall with a time of 22:48.9.
The Colonels return to the course next Saturday for the Inter-Regional Boarder Battle hosted by Rowan University in Logan Township, N.J.
