WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University women's swimming team hosted Dickinson College and Lebanon Valley College on Saturday at the Wyoming Valley Catholic Youth Center. Dickinson defeated the Colonels 166-16 while LVC won 143-38.

The 200 Medley Relay team of Maddy Kinard (Dover, PA/Dover Area), Emilie Detweiler (Muncy, PA/Hughesville), Abby Keating (Spring Grove, PA/Spring Grove Area), and Kara Foster (Brookville, PA/Brookville Jr. Sr.) placed fifth of six teams to open the meet with a time of 2:10.48.

Keating finished third of seven swimmers in the 200 IM with a finishing time of 2:30.81.

Detweiler took fourth in a field of eight in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:26.32.

Kinard placed fifth of 11 swimmers in the 50 Freestyle, coming to the wall in 27.26.

The Colonels return to action for a three-day event starting on Friday at the Diamond City Invitational hosted by King's College at 6:00 p.m. Saturday's action will start at 9:00 a.m. and Sunday's at 10:00 a.m. inside the Wyoming Valley CYC.
