Wilkes Women's Swimming Places 10th in MAC Virtual Relay Meet
WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University women's swimming team placed 10th of 11 teams in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Virtual Relay Meet which was completed by teams on March 5th through the 7th. The Colonels completed their relays on Saturday morning at the Wyoming Valley CYC.

Wilkes scored 66 points to place 10th while Messiah edged out York (Pa.) to win the team title with 214 points. The virtual meet was contested with each team swimming at their own facility and then exchanging results with the other participating teams after the event.
The Colonels best result was a seventh-place finish in the 3x50 Yard Breaststroke Relay. The team of sophomore

Abby Keating (Spring Grove, PA/Spring Grove Area), and junior
Emilie Detweiler (Muncy, PA/Hughesville) finished with a time of 1:53.87 to earn 14 points.
Wilkes will return to the pool for a virtual Pentathlon meet on Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
