MAC Duel in the Pool Wilkes Men's Swimming Results
WILKES-BARRE, PA – The Wilkes University men's swimming team placed sixth of six teams at the 2021 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Duel in the Pool event held virtually from Friday, March 26 through Sunday, March 28. The Colonels swam on Saturday morning at the Wyoming Valley CYC.

Wilkes scored 78 team points to place sixth. Stevens Institute of Technology won the team event with 415 points.
Senior
Daniel Mack (Hanover, PA/New Oxford) earned the Colonels nine points with a sixth-place finish out of 12 swimmers in the 50 Freestyle with a time of 25.77. First-year
Jared Weyandt (Reading, PA/Exeter Township Senior) finished just behind with a 25.93 to earn seven points.
Weyandt was eighth out of 16 swimmers to earn five points in the 100 Freestyle with a time of 55.32. He also scored Wilkes 11 points finishing fourth of five swimmers with a 1:10.66 in the 100 Breaststroke.

Justin Burda (Allentown, PA/Allentown Central Catholic) placed seventh in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 1:59.68 to garner 14 points.
The Colonels will remain idle until closing the season at the MAC Championships on April 16-17 for a three session virtual event.
