LEHMAN, PA – The Wilkes University men's golf team opened its 2021 spring campaign falling to the University of Scranton 298-345 on Wednesday afternoon at the Huntsville Golf Club.
 
The teams played the green tees with a Par 72 course.
 
Andrew Finke (West Milford, NJ/West Milford Twp.) led all Wilkes' scorers and was tied for the low-round carding an even 72. Michael Sherrick (Shickshinny, PA/Northwest Area) followed shooting an 80 while Zack Nesheiwat (Hackettstown, NJ/Hackettstown) (91) and Derek Cunius (Pittston, PA/Pittston Area) (102) rounded out the Colonels scorers in the dual match.
 
Matthew Fleming topped Scranton with a team-low 72, also even on the day.
 
Wilkes returns to the course Saturday, April 10 with a dual match at Misericordia University at the Irem Country Club starting at 1:00 p.m.
