LEHMAN, PA – Wilkes University's Andrew Finke (West Milford, NJ/West Milford Twp.) shot a one-over 73 to lead the Colonels men's golf team to its first win of the 2021 spring season topping host Misericordia University 332-355 Saturday afternoon at the Irem Golf Club.
 
Finke shot a round-low 73 on way to medalist honors. Michael Sherrick (Shickshinny, PA/Northwest Area) followed with his best outing of the year carding an 79 (+7) on the day.
 
Tyler Barrow (Massapequa, NY/Saint Anthony's) and Zack Nesheiwat (Hackettstown, NJ/Hackettstown)  each shot a 90 while Paul Cimilluca (Colonia, NJ/Saint Joseph) rounded out the Wilkes' scorers with a 91 on the Par 72 course.
 
Colin Bowanko led all Misericordia's golfers with an 81.
 
Wilkes is back on the course Wednesday with a match against King's College at the Wyoming Valley Country Club starting at 1:00 p.m.
