HANOVER, PA – The Wilkes University women's golf squad continued their 2021-2022 season with a tri-match against local rivals King's College and University of Scranton.
 
The Colonels (1-3) dropped their second match in as many weeks to King's 447-387, and fell to Scranton 447-351.  No Colonels broke the top three golfers individually.
 
Sarah Sorber (Hunlock Creek, PA/Northwest Area) led the Colonels with a 90 on the day, good for fifth in the entire event.  Gwen MacConnell (Great Bend, PA/Blue Ridge) carded a 103, while Marissa Korea (Duryea, PA/Pittston Area) and Angela Croop (Warrior Run, PA/Hanover Area) rounded out the Navy and Gold's squad on the day with a 122 and a 132 respectively.
 
The Colonels return to the course next weekend for another matchup against King's and Scranton September 25.  Marywood University rounds out the quad match as the Colonels host the three squads at Huntsville Golf Course.
