Wilkes Men's Swimming Falls to Lycoming on Senior Day; White Earns First Career Race Victory in Navy and Gold
WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University Colonels hosted the Lycoming Warriors for a Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Senior Day matchup Saturday afternoon at the CYC.

The Colonels (2-4) dropped the duel 112-67 to the Warriors (6-3). Junior
Liam White (Cortlandt Manor, NY/Walter Panas) posted his first career collegiate victory in the 1000 Freestyle with a time of 11:51.10 to earn nine points for the Colonels.
Stephen Verosko (Gainesville, VA/Patriot),
Jared Weyandt (Reading, PA/Exeter Township Senior),
Trey Harloff (Apex, NC/Apex Friendship), and
Keith Nissen (Bloomsburg, PA/Central Columbia) teamed up to take 11 points for the Colonels in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 1:51.51.
Weyandt finished second in the 50 Freestyle with a time of 23.68 and the 100 Freestyle with a 51.87, while Harloff did the same in the 200 IM with a 2:09.36. Harloff took another nine points with a first place finish in the 100 Breaststroke with a 1:03.71 time.
The Colonels return to action next Saturday with a cross-town trip over to King's. The first event is scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m.
