WILKES-BARRE, PA – The Wilkes University women's swimming team faced crosstown rival King's Saturday afternoon in a dual meet.

The Colonels (0-7) wrapped up their pre-Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) championship slate of events with a 131-23 loss to the Monarchs (2-9).  Senior Emilie Detweiler (Muncy, PA/Hughesville) recorded the only victory for the Colonels with  a 1.21.69 time in the 100 Breaststroke for nine points.
 
The Colonels will conclude their season with a four-day weekend at the MAC Championships in York, Pa.  The championships are scheduled for February 10 through February 13 with multiple sessions each day.
