WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University men's swimming team hosted Stevenson University and Marywood University at the Wyoming Valley Catholic Youth Center Saturday afternoon falling 137-45 to the Mustangs and 71-63 to the Pacers.

Ashton Dainty (Scranton, PA/Scranton) won the 100 Freestyle in a field of eight swimmers with a time of 54.61. Dainty placed second in the 50 Freestyle with a time of 24.94 in the six swimmer field.

The 400 Freestyle Relay team of Shane Miller (Oneonta, NY/Oneonta), Liam White (Cortlandt Manor, NY/Walter Panas), Stephen Verosko (Gainesville, VA/Patriot), and Dainty swam a time of 3:50.47.

Miller was third in the 200 Freestyle, Verosko was third in the 200 IM, and White was third in the 500 Freestyle.

Stevenson beat Marywood 135-43.

Wilkes is back in action next Saturday when they face Lebanon Valley College and Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa. at 3:00 p.m.
