MOOSIC, PA – The Wilkes University men's golf team finished in third place shooting a combined 341 at the University of Scranton quad match on Thursday afternoon at the Glenmaura National Golf Club.
 
The hosts Scranton came in first place with a team score of 311 while Marywood University finished second at 318. Misericordia rounded out the team scorers finishing fourth with a score of 368.
 
Cole Jungwirth (Bloomington, MN/Thomas Jefferson) finished tied for second shooting a team-low 75 (+4) on the day. Max Cocchi (Ludlow, MA/Tilton School) followed carding a 78 while Matthew Carlson (Delmar, NY/Albany Academy) shot a 91. Garrett Nieto (Madison, WI/Eastmont) (97) and Trevor DuBoff (Stony Point, NY/North Rockland) (101) rounded out the Colonels finishers.
 
Scranton's Dany Harding earned medalist honors with a round-low 74.
 
Wilkes closes out fall play Tuesday hosting Misericordia in a dual match at Huntsville Golf Club starting at 12:00 p.m.
