WILKES-BARRE, PA – Senior Maddy Kinard (Dover, PA/Dover Area) scored for the Wilkes University women's swimming team during Sessions III and III of the Diamond City Invitational hosted by King's College at the Wyoming Valley CYC on Saturday.

In the morning session Kinard was 11th of 28 swimmers in the 50 Freestyle with a time of 27.06 to earn 16 points.

Then in the evening session she placed seventh of 24 swimmers in the 100 Backstroke with a time of 1:05.37 to earn 23 points.

Kinard has Wilkes in tenth of the 10 teams with 39 total points after three of four sessions. Bridgewater College is in first place with 1,237 points.

Kinard returns to the pool for Session IV at 10:00 a.m. Sunday.
