CARLISLE, PA – Liam White (Cortlandt Manor, NY/Walter Panas) won the 500 Freestyle race as the Wilkes University men's swimming team competed in a double dual against host Dickinson College and Lebanon Valley College on Saturday afternoon. Dickinson defeated Wilkes 108-46 and LVC won 129-45 over the Colonels.

White, took advantage of four disqualifications, to place first of seven swimmers in the 500 Freestyle with a time of 5:57.32.

The 200 Freestyle Relay team of Shane Miller (Oneonta, NY/Oneonta), White, Stephen Verosko (Gainesville, VA/Patriot), and Ashton Dainty (Scranton, PA/Scranton) placed second of eight teams with a time of 1:43.12.

The 200 Medley Relay team of Damian Jenkins (Archbald, PA/Valley View), Rodrigo Luis Gabriel (Poughkeepsie, NY/Poughkeepsie), Miller, and Verosko was seventh of seven teams with a 2:07.18.

Wilkes fell to 0-6 on the season.

The Colonels return to the pool in Owings Mills, Md. on Sunday, November 13 at 1:00 p.m. to face host Stevenson University and also Elizabethtown College.
