Wilkes Basketball Hosts Lycoming for MAC Freedom Doubleheader Wednesday
WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University women's and men's basketball teams are set to host Lycoming College for a pair of Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) contests Wednesday at the Marts Center. The women's game will tip at 6:00 p.m. followed by the men's contest at 8:00 p.m.

Women's Preview:
Wilkes enters the conference matchup against Lycoming in seventh place with a 4-8 record in the MAC Freedom and at 5-13 overall. The Colonels are 3-5 at home this season. Wilkes dropped the matchup in Williamsport, Pa. on January 12th by a 70-49 score.

The sophomore is the MAC Freedom leader with 16.2 ppg and his 8.7 rpg rank in a tie for fourth in the league. Fisher is tied for fifth in the league with 1.6 bpg, tied for ninth with 1.3 steals-per-game and tenth with a .476 field goal percentage.
Drake Marshall (Gainesville, VA/Patriot) is fourth in the league in scoring at 14.7 ppg. He is also tied for ninth with 6.2 rpg. Marshall is tied for fifth in the conference with 3.6 apg and is eighth with a .486 field goal percentage.
Matthew Davidheiser (Reading, PA/Exeter Township) is also scoring in double figures for the Colonels at 10.2 ppg. Davidheiser leads the Colonels with 31 made three pointers and is second in the league with a .431 three-point shooting percentage while ranking ninth overall with a .481 field goal percentage.
