WILKES-BARRE – Wilkes University baseball junior AJ Brosious (Laurys Station, PA/Allentown Central Catholic) was selected to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week for games running from February 21-27 as announced by the organization Wednesday.

Brosious made his Wilkes debut, going 4-for-5 (.800) with nine RBIs in a doubleheader. He went 2-for-3 with four RBIs a walk and a run as the Colonels defeated Rosemont 16-0 in the first game on Sunday. Brosious pinch hit for the Colonels in game two in the fifth inning with the bases loaded down 6-5 and knocked the go-ahead three-run triple. Later in the inning he added a two-run single before the game was called with Wilkes ahead 15-6.

The Team of the Week is D3baseball.com's weekly honor roll, in its tenth season of recognizing the top performers at each of nine positions from the previous week. Players are selected from nominations from their school's sports information directors. This is the third Team of the Week of the 2022 season.
