Lerch Records 100th Career Point as Wilkes Women's Lacrosse Wins 21-2 over Keystone
 
EDWARDSVILLE, PA – The Wilkes University women's lacrosse squad hosted the Keystone Giants Monday night for a nonconference affair at Schmidt Stadium.
 
The Colonels (2-4) scored 10 goals in the first quarter on their way to a 21-2 victory over the Giants (0-3).  The Colonels outscored the Giants in the second period 3-1 before scoring eight goals to Keystone's one goal in the second half.
 
Domenica Lerch (Northampton, PA/Northampton) recorded her 100th point on an assist at 12:00 in the third period.  Camryn Devitt (Northampton, PA/Northampton) recorded a team-high four goals, while Sam Mullen (Dover, PA/York Catholic), Breanne Fulling (Hyde Park, NY/Franklin D. Roosevelt), and Laura Bayzick (Hazleton, PA/Hazleton Area) each had a hat trick.  Savannah Bauman (Effort, PA/Pleasant Valley) joined Lerch in the two-goal club, while Bauman had two assists and Lerch seven.  Keara Dugey (Kunkletown, PA/Pleasant Valley), Brooklyn Pedana (Pittston, PA/Pittston Area), Caitlin McDonough (Exeter, PA/Wyoming Area), and Lizzie Carter (Elizabethtown, PA/Elizabethtown Area) each had a single strike for the Colonels.  Samantha Scott (Binghamton, NY/Chenango Valley) earned her first victory in goal for the Colonels in her first-ever start, while Carter and McDonough's goals were the first of their Navy and Gold careers.
 
The Colonels look to build on their two-game winning streak as they travel to face the Neumann Knights in Aston, Pa. this Thursday.  Start time is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. as the two teams meet for the first time in the live stats era.
