DALLAS, PA. – The Wilkes University Colonels women's golf squad continued their end of season schedule with a tri-match against King's and Misericordia Sunday afternoon at Irem Country Club
 
The Colonels fell short against King's in 435-417 fashion, but toppled host Misericordia in 435-457 to split the day.  Sarah Sober topped the Wilkes squad and finished fourth overall with her 96 on the day, while Gwen MacConnell (Great Bend, PA/Blue Ridge) finished 106 which was good for sixth.  Cassidy Taylor's (Forty Fort, PA/Wyoming Valley West) 108 was good for eighth between the three squads.
 
Jordyn Ruane led all golfers with a 91 on the day, while two King's golfers rounded out the top three with Evie Williams finishing with a 92 and Paula Moon a 93.  Mady Pendolphi finished fifth with a 102 for the winning Monarchs.  
 
The Wilkes women's golf squad will head to Golden Oaks Golf Club for the Middle Atlantic Conference Women's Golf Championships.  The golfers are scheduled to hit the course at noon on both Saturday April 30 and Sunday May 1.
