LEHMAN, PA – The Wilkes University men's golf team concluded its 2022 spring season finishing third in its home finale tri-match with the University of Scranton and Misericordia University on Friday afternoon at Huntsville Golf Club.
 
Scranton took home first place with a team score of 318. Misericordia followed posting a 331 while the Colonels carded a combined 357 on the day.
 
Andrew Finke (West Milford, NJ/West Milford Twp.) led the way for Wilkes shooting a round-low 84 on the Par 72 course. Cole Jungwirth (Bloomington, MN/Jefferson) followed with an 86 while Max Cocchi (Ludlow, MA/Tilton School) (91) and Trvor DuBoff (96) rounded out the Colonel scorers. Michael Gurska finished his senior campaign on the course with a 100.
 
Ethan Zawatski of Misericordia shot a round-low 74 (+2) to take home medalist honors. Matthew Fleming led two Scranton players who shot below 80 carding a 77.
