DALLAS, PA – The Wilkes University men's golf team posted a 343-358 victory over local rival Misericordia University in a dual match at Irem Golf Club on Saturday afternoon.
 
Max Cocchi (Ludlow, MA/Tilton School) earned medalist honors shooting a round-low 81 (+9) for the Colonels. Trevor DuBoff (Stony Point, NY/North Rockland) and Cole Jungwirth (Bloomington, MN/Thomas Jefferson) followed Cocchi each carding an 87. Matthew Carlson (Delmar, NY/Albany Academy) finished with an 88 while Sam Hopkins (Honesdale, PA/Honesdale) shot a 91.
 
Chris Dalfarra (Warrington, PA) (96) and Brennan Reiner (Altamont, NY/Guilderland) (98) rounded out the Wilkes finishers.
 
Colin Bowanko and Jack Hopkins led Misericordia both posting an 87.
 
Wilkes is back on the course Monday with a dual match against Marywood University at Stone Hedge Golf Course scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
