WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University men's swimming team returned to the pool following winter break, hosting Misericordia University at the Wyoming Valley CYC Saturday afternoon. The Cougars won the dual meet 165-26.

The Colonels began the meet with Damian Jenkins (Archbald, PA/Valley View), Stephen Verosko (Gainesville, VA/Patriot), Shane Miller (Oneonta, NY/Oneonta), and Ashton Dainty (Scranton, PA/Scranton) swimming the 200 Medley Relay where they finished in 1:57.86 and earned two team points.

Liam White (Cortlandt Manor, NY/Walter Panas), Miller, Jenkins, Verosko, and Dainty all competed in individual events, combining for 24 more team points.

Wilkes is back in action Saturday, January 21 at Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pa. for a dual meet with the Warriors.
