WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University women's swimming team's Maddy Kinard (Dover, PA/Dover Area) returned to the pool following winter break, hosting Misericordia University at the Wyoming Valley CYC Saturday afternoon. The Cougars won the dual meet 173-5.

Kinard began her day with the 200 IM as she earned two points with a time of 2:39.33. Her other event during the meet was the 200 Backstroke where she earned three points with a finishing time of 2:31.40.

Wilkes and Kinard are back in action Saturday, January 21 at Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pa. for a dual meet with the Warriors.
