WILKES-BARRE – Lauren Koval (Swoyersville, PA/Wyoming Valley West) fired in a team-low 97 to lead the Wilkes University women's golf team to a 396-412 victory over FDU-Florham Sunday at the Wyoming Valley Country Club.
 
With the win Wilkes moved its overall record to 2-3 on the season.
 
Mollie Corbett (Hanover Twp., PA/Hanover Area Jr./Sr.) joined Koval with an under-100 score carding a 98. Isabelle Dahl (Athens, PA/Athens Area) finished with a 100 while Kylee Laudenslager (Kingston, PA/Wyoming Valley West) shot a 101. Morgan Andretta (Middleburg, PA/Midd-West) rounded out the Colonel finishers with a 107.
 
Erica Blackburn led all scorers with a round-low 91.
 
Wilkes returns to action next Sunday with a dual match at Misericordia University at the Irem Golf Club starting at 12:30 p.m.
