Wilkes Men's Swimming Concludes Season at Final Day of MAC Championships
YORK, PA – The Wilkes University men's swimming team continued its season on day four of competition at the 2023 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships at the Graham Aquatic Center on Sunday. Wilkes earned 37 team points Sunday to bring their total to 154 over the four days.

The team of
Liam White (Cortlandt Manor, NY/Walter Panas),
Shane Miller (Oneonta, NY/Oneonta),
Stephen Verosko (Gainesville, VA/Patriot), and
Ashton Dainty (Scranton, PA/Scranton) swam over seven seconds faster than their seed time in the 400 Freestyle Relay with a 3:33.29 to close out the night. The team placed 14th among the A Relay teams to earn 32 team points.
White placed 20th of 21 swimmers to earn five points in the 1650 Freestyle with a time of 19:31.87.
Verosko was 41st and Dainty 44th of 54 swimmers in the 100 Freestyle prelims Sunday morning. Verosko finished with a time of 53.25 to beat his seed time by 1.31 seconds. Dainty swam a 53.90 to better his seed time by 0.18 seconds.
Wilkes placed 14th of 14 teams at the end of the 2023 MAC Championships with 154 total points.
