KINGSTON, PA – Visiting Houghton University recorded its first win of the season posting a 9-0 non-conference victory over the Wilkes University men's tennis team Monday after at TK Academy.
 
Wilkes fell to 0-2 overall following the home dual defeat while Houghton improved to 1-2 on the year.
 
Houghton raced out to a 3-0 lead sweeping all three doubles flights by scores of 8-3, 8-3 and 8-1.
 
The visitors then post straight-set wins in all six singles matches on way to the shutout win.
 
Wilkes returns to action Monday, March 13 when the Colonels host Endicott College at 4:00 p.m. at the Ralston Athletic Complex.
