Wilkes Women's Golf Concludes Quad Match with Scranton, King's, and Marywood
TUNKHANNOCK, PA – The Wilkes University women's golf team went to Stone Hedge Golf Course where they competed against the University of Scranton, King's College, and Marywood University. The Colonels would fall to those three teams as they would score a 383 on the day. The Royals would finish first with 273, while the Monarch's and Pacers would place second and third with a score of 315 and 319 respectively.
Andrea Delvecchio (Orange, CT/Amity) would have the leading score for Wilkes as she shot a 121 on the day. Morgan Andretta (Middleburg, PA/Midd-West) (125) and Kylee Laudenslager (Kingston, PA/Wyoming Valley West) (137) would round out the Colonels finishers in the quad-match.
Scranton's Victoria Dowling would finish at the top of the leaderboard as she shot a match-low 79 on the course.
Wilkes will look to rebound when they head to the Wyoming Valley Country Club as they face cross-town rival King's College on Saturday, April 15 at 1:00 p.m.
